[It takes a bit of time before the journal gets into focus revealing a dark haired woman who is now in view, it was obvious she had never used anything like the journal from the momentary glimpse of curiosity with her expression and that she is extremely calm about her arrival for the most part]

Oh! There we go. This is working, isn't it? Now I think I've heard the basics about this place but that hardly makes this anymore reassuring if we're to stay here. It's a bit worrying actually since I have a family to get back to, after all.

If these are supposed to be used for communication, I'm guessing people can hear me through this? I'm not sure whether I know anyone here yet but this seems be the way to find out— I'm looking for two of my sons or anyone who would be from Konoha? I'd really grateful for any help at all.

[Well, that's certainly a familiar face. Probably the most familiar out of everyone here who are all from his and Kushina's future. Minato doesn't greet her right off the bat just because he quickly analyzes when she's from.

The mention of two sons quickly prompted Minato into thinking she's from the Uchiha massacre (which he learned from Kakashi). Immediately, this saddens Minato. Ignorance may be bliss but the truth and the pain of a future she had yet to live will find a way to surface, especially in this place. He won't tell her. It's not his place. There are limits to becoming a Hokage and while he had dealt with so many issues in the past about a future he didn't have the opportunity to live in, he won't do the same with this one.

The past ones were political. This one includes a family he knows well.

When he finally greets Mikoto, though, Minato has a genial smile on. It won't be nice to lie to a friend, but he considers this necessary.]

Ah, Mikoto.

It seems this place has taken a liking on bringing people from our world.
